CRU TOUR | AUTUMN 2022

CRUS TOUR

During the Saturdays of October and November, the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca, in collaboration with the Wine Laboratory, presents the "Walks among the historic vineyards of Barbaresco DOCG". You will have the opportunity to get to know the roots of Barbaresco DOCG and the vineyards that have made its history up close.

The Cru Tours are back with the special formula of WALKING EXCURSIONS. A unique experience that will immerse you in the historic vineyards of the Barbaresco DOCG area. As always, journalist and wine expert Giancarlo Montaldo will guide you to discover the Geographical Mentions of Barbaresco.


Here is the excursion program (being updated):

Saturday 8 October: Barbaresco (Western side). Departure in front of the wine shop
Saturday 15 October: Treiso (Rocche dei 7 Fratelli). Departure from Piazza Baracco, Treiso
Saturday 22 October: Barbaresco (Eastern side). Departure in front of the wine shop
Saturday 5 October: Neive (From San Giuliano to Bordini). Departure from the Neive cemetery

Departure at 2.30pm from the meeting point. Reservation required.

Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER THE WALKS WILL BE CANCELLED

EXCURSION PROGRAM

  • SATURDAY 8 OCTOBER | WEST SIDE OF BARBARESCO

2.30 pm – Departure from Barbaresco – Piazza del Municipio (in front of the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca).

Walk to discover the historic vineyards and complementary agricultural productions with this route: Barbaresco – Pajè – Rabajà Bas – Cars – Asili – Phaset – Martinenga – Stazione – Rio Sordo – Tre Stelle – Trifolera – Rabajà – Moncagòta – Cole – Pian de la Ca Nova – Barbaresco.

5.30 pm – Return to Barbaresco, in front of the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca

  • SATURDAY 22 OCTOBER | EAST SIDE OF BARBARESCO

2.30 pm – Departure from Barbaresco – Piazza del Municipio (in front of the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca).

Walk to discover the historic vineyards and complementary agricultural productions with this route: Ovello – Montestefano – Montefico – Vicenziana – Ovello.

Observations on the vineyards on the western side of Neive.

5.30 pm – Return to Barbaresco, in front of the Barbaresco Regional Enoteca.

  • SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER | SOUTH SIDE OF TREISO

(ROCHES OF THE SEVEN BROTHERS)

2.30 pm – Departure from Piazza Baracco in Treiso (in front of the Parish Church).

Walk to discover the historic vineyards and complementary agricultural productions with this route: Treiso – Bernardot – Giacone – Cascina Basso – Rocche Massalupo – Rocche dei Sette Fratelli – Canta – Sant'Alessandro – Bongioan – Treiso.

5.00 pm – Return to Treiso, in front of the Parish Church

  • SATURDAY 5 NOVEMBER | NEIVE (FROM SAN GIULIANO TO BORDINI)

2.30 pm – Departure from the square in front of the Neive Cemetery (San Giuliano area).

Walk to discover the historic vineyards and complementary agricultural productions with this route: San Giuliano – Gallina – Albesani – Balluri – Bordini – Starderi – Serragrilli – Neive Alto – San Giuliano.

 

5.30 pm – Return to the square in front of the Neive Cemetery (San Giuliano area).
