The origin of the Borgogno Fratelli Serio e Battista winery is due to Cavalier Francesco Borgogno who in the mid-nineteenth century began the production and sale of his own wine in the center of Barolo. The Cavaliere's grandchildren, Serio and Battista, moved the winery to a small farmhouse in Cannubi, having fully grasped the potential of the aforementioned MGA and Barolo. The winery is currently run by the fifth generation, Federica Boffa and Bolla Emanuela, with the precious support of the fourth generation, represented by Paola and Anna Borgogno, and with the collaboration of Marco Bolla. Emanuela and Federica have decided to continue the family business by combining acquired traditions with greater sensitivity that translates into the search for detail in the vineyard and in the cellar with the utmost respect for the terroir and biodiversity.
