Nestled in the Langhe, a World Heritage Site, in Neviglie stands the Cà Moranda farm, a small, strictly family-run business that has always focused on grape production. Three adjectives for this winery: young, innovative, sustainable. Although the actual age of the winery is very young, the family boasts ancestors from Neive who were producing wine as early as the end of the 19th century; the first was great-great-grandfather Stefano, born in 1861, who used horses to carry barrels to the taverns in Alba; after him, great-grandfather Alfonso, and then grandfather Pietro. Today, the company is run by granddaughter Serena, with the help of her father Dino and mother Anna. The energy used for production is entirely obtained from photovoltaic panels. Our grapes are harvested and selected by hand, bunch by bunch, and come from estate-owned vineyards that extend between Neive and Neviglie. Environmental sustainability guides the company's choices in the vineyard and in the cellar.
