Cascina Chicco was founded in 1950 in Canale, where the Faccenda family built a path of growth rooted in solid foundations and clear vision. In the 1980s, Enrico and Marco brought new energy to the Cascina Chicco project, expanding production in the area’s most renowned crus: Roero Arneis in Canale, Barbera in Castellinaldo, Nebbiolo in Valmaggiore, Barolo in Monforte, and Barbaresco in Ovello ultimately reaching the 50 hectares of vineyards they now own across the Langhe and Roero. In 2014, the underground cellar took shape, with more than 5,000 square meters carved into the hillside to a depth of 28 meters. It is an evocative place where chalk, brick, and architecture meet technology and silence, expressing the identity of the territory through an elegant production style that remains faithful to the land.
