The company was founded in 1920 by Giovanni Mainerdo who began to vinify small batches of grapes from some prestigious areas in the municipalities of Neive and Barbaresco. Today, the Mainerdo winery, in addition to the grapes from its own vineyards, 12 hectares, vinifies and assembles the grapes supplied by small winemakers. The aging in wood is entrusted to French and Slavonian oak barrels and casks of different capacities.
