The Poderi Colla company was officially founded in 1994, but the beginning of the Colla family's winemaking history dates back to 1703. In 1930 Beppe Colla was born, who participated in the drafting of the production specifications for the Alba wine denominations: in the 1960s he was the first in Langa to vinify the grapes from the best positions separately and to introduce the word cru on the label, a term of great importance for the protection of the territory. Today in the company, alongside Tino, Beppe's brother, there are also Federica and Pietro Colla: Beppe's daughter and granddaughter respectively. Poderi Colla is made up of 4 agricultural companies for a total of 29 hectares: Cascine Drago in Alba, Bricco Bompè in Madonna Como di Alba, Tenuta Roncaglia in Barbaresco and Dardi le Rose in Bussia di Monforte.
