Matteo and Massimo, two friends linked by a childhood spent among the vineyards, founded the company in 2022 in the municipality of Treiso, with the aim of enhancing the winemaking heritage of the Langhe in homage to the generations that preceded them.

The estate, purchased in 1962 by Giacomo Marcarino (Massimo's grandfather) from the Chiarla family (in Piedmontese Ciarla), is located on the top of a hill, in Piedmontese "bricco": hence the choice of the name of the winery Bricco Ciarla.

The company cultivates about 5 hectares of vineyards between the municipalities of Treiso and Neviglie.
