The Cascina Bruciata Farm, active since the beginning of 1880, is located in Barbaresco, in the Rio Sordo area. The company was purchased around 1880 by Giovanni Balbo when, following an arson attack, the then owner decided to sell. Around the 1950s, the company acquired an exclusively viticultural connotation, but saw its potential realized with Carlo Balbo, who, at the beginning of the new millennium, decided to produce wine and market it. In 2016, it was purchased by the Abbona family, maintaining its full autonomy and identity.
