The history of the Toso brothers began in 1894 when Giovanni Toso purchased a historic farmhouse on the hill east of Neive, Cascina Longoria. In 1991, the brothers Carlo and Corrado Toso, the fourth generation at the helm of the company, completed the purchase of the most important property: the seventeenth-century farmhouse “Le Doti”, just outside the ancient village of Neive, with an adjoining Barbaresco vineyard in the Bordini cru. In 2017, Alessandra, Carlo’s youngest daughter, joined the company, taking care of both the vineyards and hospitality. Currently, Cascina Le Doti dei Fratelli Toso boasts 10 hectares all of vineyards.
