The distillery was founded by Paolo Marolo in 1977 in the family home in the hamlet of Mussotto in Alba. The distillery is a testament to Paolo Marolo's ability to combine artisanal and traditional techniques with modern knowledge to create a varied range of grappas. Among the most daring innovations implemented, which over time have made the company's fortune, it is worth mentioning the innovative use of the bain-marie still, which gives the grappa an additional softness. Another peculiarity of Marolo grappa is the uniqueness of the labels of the classic grappas, designed by maestro Gianni Gallo. In addition to the production of grappas, the Santa Teresa distillery creates and distributes typical Piedmontese delicacies such as Baci di Langa, panettone and various types of chocolate.
