Located in the Roero area, more precisely in the municipality of Piobesi d’Alba, the Sibona distillery is one of the historic distilleries of Piedmont and has the old distillation license N°1 issued by the UTF, a symbol of a great past and prestige. Distillation began with the use of an old steam locomotive later replaced by the current systems. Sibona produces single-variety grappas obtained in mixed systems that operate in a steam current and in a bain-marie.
