The company, located in Neive, was purchased in 1895 by Giuseppe Giacosa with the sum of 3000 lire, obtained by playing the Lotto with the numbers dreamed of the previous night. Giuseppe was replaced by Leone, his son, who managed to bring his father's ambitious idea to fruition, creating a commercial and winemaking company. The trade of the wine produced developed from barrels to demijohns, finally arriving at bottles. In the 90s, the helm finally passed into the hands of Maurizio and Paolo, Leone's nephews who are the current owners.
