The history of the Paitin winery began in 1796, when Benedetto Elia bought a property from Luigi Pelissero. Exports began in 1898, while the first bottled Barbaresco dates back to 1893. After the disasters of the two great wars, the company resumed its activity in 1965 with the construction of a new winery. Secondo Pasquero Elia and, now, his two sons Giovanni and Silvano, continue to carry on the family tradition with pride and dedication.
