Espressione Barbaresco has just ended, in the fascinating stage of the historic rooms of the Hotel Calissano in Alba: the presentation of the 2020 vintage of Barbaresco DOCG which was told by
Antonio Galloni, awarded the title of Voice of Barbaresco 2020 , and supported by Alessandro Masnaghetti.

The event, now in its fifth edition, has met with great success in terms of participation (both the Masterclass and the Lectio were sold out), media interaction and, above all, enthusiasm in the discovery of a great vintage of Barbaresco and its splendid territory.

On Monday 12 June 2023, in the fascinating stage of the historic rooms of the Hotel Calissano in Alba, Espressione Barbaresco will be held, the presentation of the 2020 vintage of Barbaresco DOCG. The Barbaresco Regional Enoteca is pleased to entrust the story of the latest vintage to Antonio Galloni, Voice of Barbaresco 2020 and special guest of the day.

Journalist, writer, passionate connoisseur of Barbaresco and founder of Vinous , one of the most important wine publications in the world, Antonio Galloni represents one of the most authoritative voices in wine journalism and an undisputed point of reference on the international wine scene. Through his own voice, Antonio Galloni will offer a complete reading of the latest vintage of Barbaresco DOCG, expressed during an exclusive Masterclass and a Lectio magistralis, a free-wheeling dialogue with Alessandro Masnaghetti.
MASTERCLASS with ANTONIO GALLONI
The morning will be dedicated to the exclusive Masterclass led by Antonio Galloni who will propose his own overall reading of the new 2020 vintage.
This overview will take place through the tasting of 16 Barbaresco DOCG labels tasted in preview and personally chosen by Antonio Galloni himself; a targeted and scrupulous selection representative of the entire area of origin of Barbaresco DOCG and capable of illustrating all the nuances that the 2020 vintage is able to offer.

LECTIO MAGISTRALIS.
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE BARBARESCO VINEYARDS
with Antonio Galloni and Alessandro Masnaghetti
In the afternoon, from 3.00 pm, the story of wine will take on the tone of a Lectio Magistralis conducted in pairs by Antonio Galloni and Alessandro Masnaghetti, a profound connoisseur of Barbaresco, wine journalist, passionate taster, founder of Enogea and "Map Man" of the best vineyards of the world.
The seminar entitled "A journey through the Barbaresco vineyards" will lead you to discover the Geographical Mentions of Barbaresco guided by the voices of the two speakers who will intertwine in a free-wheeling narration of history, culture, pedoclimatic conditions and oenology , of the producers to get to the story of the vintage and the tastings carried out in the area.​
