NEIVE CASTLE

Located inside the splendid eighteenth-century castle, the winery has been owned by the Stupino family since 1964. Of the 60 hectares of land, all located in the municipality of Neive, 26 are intended for the cultivation of grapes and 20 for hazelnuts. All wine production is obtained from proprietary grapes. Among the vineyards, Santo Stefano deserves a particular note of merit, already mapped in the Cabreo of the Castle of Neive in 1742, "monopole" with exposure, slope, microclimate and soil that make it unique for both Barbaresco and Barbera d'Alba . Since 2012, Italo Stupino has activated a second technical cellar, also in Neive, in an ideal structure for optimizing the processes of pressing, fermentation and maintaining bottles at a controlled temperature. Finally, in 2016, "La Casetta" of the Neive Castle opened its doors in the rooms of the eighteenth-century house renovated inside the Castle garden.
