"The tour of the Barbaresco Vineyards” seminar accompanied the more than 100 participants on their journey around the additional geographical references (MGA) of Barbaresco, the first to be subjected to governing regulations in 2007. The lecturers took turns narrating the history of Barbaresco, the area’s culture, the characteristics of its soil, climate and oenology to complete their account of the 2020 vintage.

Alessandro Masnaghetti, assisted by Antonio Galloni, recounted several anecdotes with great enthusiasm as he explained the difference between one vineyard and another and that geographical position is only one of the many aspects that contribute to making a single geographical reference unique. 

The extensive knowledge and enthusiasm of both speakers made the afternoon much more than a lesson and enriched the cultural experience of each participant with great feeling.
